SQUAT AND ITS BENEFITS

 Squat is a strength exercise in which the trainee lowers their hips from a standing position and then stands back up .During the descent of squat ,the hip and knee joints flex while the ankle joint dorsiflexes ; conversely the hip and knee joints extend amd the ankle joint plantarflexes when standing up.


Squats burn calories and might help you lose weight .They also lower your chances of injuring your knees and ankles .As you exercise ,the movement strengthens your tendons ,bones and ligaments around the leg muscles .Other muscles that benefits from squats are : hip muscle ,calves,hamstrimg and obliques.
